1989年の Tom Petty のソロ作の大成功を経て、再び TP and the Heartbreakers としての第8作目。『Full Moon Fever』同様 、Jeff Lynne をプロデューサーに迎えて制作されました。
凝った繊細な音づくりをした Jeff Lynne の手腕には賛否あり、好みの別れるところ。でも、内容的に決して悪くはなく、彼らにしてはクリアで洗練された音で聞きやすい一枚に仕上がっています。アルバム・タイトル曲では、印象的なビデオが制作され話題を集めました。
